I’m Aube Vandingenen, a 25-year-old Belgian épée fencer from Evergem.

I started fencing in a small local club, inspired by my grandfather, who had also fenced when he was younger. What began as a childhood dream quickly became much more.

At 17, I moved to France to train at a higher level and build my life around fencing. Since then, I have competed internationally at European Championships, World Championships and World University Games.

My biggest ambition is to reach the Olympic Games and collect a few medals along the way.

For me, it is all about finding out how far I can go.
